Dear Campers,

I’m sure by now you’ve heard the news or at least a few rumors. Joe and Marlene have been the caretakers of this amazing property (Miller's Happy Acres) for almost 10 years, and they’ve decided that it’s time to retire.

They’re selling the campground and my husband, Kevin, and I are lucky enough to be chosen to take over their posts.

I know you probably have a lot of questions and maybe even some concerns. We do too! But we are also extremely excited for this next adventure and hope that any apprehension you have will quickly become anticipation.

We’re already in love with the campground and our goal is to make sure you are too.  Yes, we plan to make improvements and repairs but don’t worry. We want to keep the quiet and close-knit atmosphere you’ve created. Ultimately, we want to make sure you are happy and proud to camp at Happy Acres Campground.

Change can be hard… and scary. It can also lead to amazing experiences, unexpected comforts, and new friends. We’re so excited about what the future will bring! If you see us, please stop and say hello. We can’t wait to meet you.
