July 11, 2024 - Nothing A Little Pixie Dust Can't Cure

According to Allen and Lori Anderson, getting too close "can and will cause you to become infected with a non curable disease that we call ballooning." 

July 12-14, 2024 is the Angola Balloons Aloft here in Angola, Indiana and you're sure to see hot air balloons all around. Fortunately, we are lucky enough to have Allen and Lori Anderson camping with us during their stay and they are bringing their balloon, Pixie Dust. 

Mark your calendars on Thursday, July 11 because they plan to use our campground as a launch site to prepare Pixie Dust for the local event.  And they've invited a few of their ballooning friends. This means a private show just for Happy Acres campers.

Just like anything else in aviation, this event depends on many factors including wind, weather, mechanics, surroundings, etc.  Basically, if it's not safe they won't fly so this isn't a guaranteed show. But I'm crossing my fingers and sprinkling a little pixie dust.
