2023 Opening WeekendWe're so excited about the upcoming season that we're planning a celebration. Join us for a welcome reception which will most definately involve delicious food and drinks, bonfires with old friends and new, RV & campground product demonstrations, and prizes. Plus Patrick and Patty of Travels with Delaney (@travelswithdelaney - follow them on Youtube/Facebook/Instagram/TikTok) will be on site all weekend to help bring in the new season. Instead of "fact-based" questions and answers, the nation was surveyed with a series of questions. Teams compete by trying to guess the top answers! Good Times Horticulture Company (a brand new company I'm sooo excited about!) will have gorgeous spring annuals on site and available for purchase (and planting). Bethany from The Window Nook Studio will be hosting and providing the step by step instructions to create your work of art. Meet us at the pavilion at 10am. $16 per crafter. Campfire Concert - Jim & Erica!Jim Weber & Erica Lee, a couple of my favorite local musicians, (and hard to book) will be rockin' the campgroud with their popular covers include Motown, Blues, Island, Folk, and Classic hits that appeal to many generations. This is the first time Jim & Erica will be at Happy Acres but definitely not the last. The 6 on James (formally 6 Autumns) will be keeping the party going with the Whiskey Wagon & full bar. Drinks available for purchase. The concert starts at 7pm at the pavilion. It's FREE for all campers. $20 per person for outside guests which includes 2 drinks from the Whiskey Wagon. |

If you're a fan of Johnny Cash, David Allan Coe, or Jamey Johnson, you don't want to miss Mike signing his versions of traditional Honky Tonk & Folk storytelling ballads reminiscent of the Outlaw Country Style. Charcuterie CreationsEver wondered how to make a beautiful charcuterie board? Want to impress your guests and even yourself? Or just learn a fun way to make a meal or snack on the go (you know... like when your camping)? This might be the perfect class for you! Michelle Cook, a local chef and Jane of all trades, is coming to Happy Acres to teach a class on creating these beautiful and delicious works of art. This class is limited to 7 registrations. You can register as a single or a couple. Each person (or couple) will make a gorgeous charcuterie board that serves 6-8 people. $100 per registration.
