Good Times are Blooming

Those who know me know that I have a love of plants, perhaps an addiction, or as Kevin would say.... a problem.  For the last 9 years, my solution to this so called "problem" has been the plant whisperer himself, Kelley Remington.  

And Kelley has big news and good times ahead! He's now started his own nursery called Good Time Horticulture Co. and I could not be more excited for him (and selfishly, myself)! The best part is that Happy Acres is lucky enough to be collaborating with him and his company to beautify the campground and hopefully send some new customers his way.  

This spring, he's designing and his crew is installing hardscapes and landscaping at the new Barton Lake RV site.  He's also designing a gorgeous pool area that will include privacy and noise control.  

Kelley has always been a wealth of knowledge when it comes to plants.  He's helped me choose the right plants and trees for sun vs shade, soil types, location, textures and colors, and what plants play well together.  This year on June 3, he's bringing all that knowledge to Happy Acres and teaching an annual planter class.  You can learn all the basics on designing, creating, and caring for the perfect annual planter.
